Description
‘Resting in woods’ is a painting by Dave H which depicts a soldier at the battlefield cross of a fallen comrade in the woods.
Painted in Dave’s easily recognisable abstract style of stark backgrounds and silhouetted figures, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour – in this instance provided by the bright crimson of the poppy.
It is an original acrylic on A3 220gsm canvas paper, unframed but mounted in a 18″ x 14″ white-cored black mount – which is a standard frame size, allowing ‘off the shelf’ framing.
