‘Last Patrol’ is a painting by Dave H which depicts a group of soldiers on a moonlit patrol with the ever watching ‘eye in the sky’ providing top-cover.
Painted in Dave’s easily recognisable abstract style of stark backgrounds and silhouetted figures, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour – in this instance provided by the bright crimson of the poppy flowers in the foreground.
It is an original acrylic on A3 220gsm canvas paper, unframed but mounted in a 18″ x 14″ white-cored black mount – which is a standard frame size, allowing ‘off the shelf’ framing.
