‘Memorial Sorrow in Red’ is a painting by Dave H which depicts the image of a silhouetted War Memorial in the rain and a soldier on his knees with a lady giving her support
Painted in Dave’s easily recognisable abstract style of stark backgrounds and silhouetted figures, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour – in this instance the crimson of the poppy wreaths and the woman’s clothing. It was one of 5 similar paintings with varying colours – this being the only one which was made available as prints.
Each print is a professionally produced Giclée Fine Art Print, created using Epsom ultra chrome K3 pigment inks on Expression Smooth 280gsm paper.
They are limited to editions of 10 numbered prints, personally signed and numbered by the artist.
The printed area is 14.5″ x 10.5″ and they are mounted in acid free mounts with an overall external measurement of 20″ x 16″, allowing for framing in standard ‘off the shelf’ frames.
