Description
‘From Work to War’ is a painting by Dave H which depicts the silhouetted figures of troops symbolically marching away from a pit head, intended to represent the migration of the workforce to the front lines and battlefields of World War 1.
Painted in Dave’s easily recognisable abstract style of stark backgrounds and silhouetted figures contrasting with splashes of vibrant colour – in this instance the crimson of the poppy flowers in the foreground of the painting.
Each print is a professionally produced Giclée Fine Art Print, created using Epsom ultra chrome K3 pigment inks on Expression Smooth 280gsm paper.
Limited to an edition of 200 numbered prints, personally signed and numbered by the artist.
The printed area is 14.5″ x 10.5″ and they are mounted in acid free mounts with an overall external measurement of 20″ x 16″, allowing for framing in standard ‘off the shelf’ frames.
