‘3000 years’ is a painting by Dave H which depicts a Greek hoplite and a modern soldier in riot gear.
Painted in Dave’s easily recognisable abstract style of stark backgrounds, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour – in this instance provided by the bright crimson of the the hoplite’s helmet plume.
It is an original acrylic on A3 220gsm canvas paper, unframed but mounted in a 18″ x 14″ white-cored black mount – which is a standard frame size, allowing ‘off the shelf’ framing.
