Description
‘Romsey war horse’ is a painting by Dave H of a sculpture of the same name by Amy Goodman, which depicts a horse and it’s injured rider.
Painted in Dave’s easily recognisable abstract style of stark backgrounds and silhouetted figures, contrasting with vibrant splashes of colour – in this instance provided by the bright crimson of the single poppy flower.
It is an original acrylic painting on A3 220gsm canvas paper, unframed but mounted in a 18″ x 14″ white-cored black mount – which is a standard frame size, allowing ‘off the shelf’ framing.
