‘Amidst the poppy field’ depicts the figure of a serviceman at the battlefield cross of a fallen comrade, amidst a poppy field.
Painted in Dave’s distinctive style of figures in silhouette and a splash of colour – in this the poppies.
This original painting is acrylic on 40cm x 50cm box canvas and was donated to the Royal British Legion.
