‘Guarding Respect’ is a painting by Dave H, depicting a Guardsman paying respects at a war memorial by ‘dipping the Jack’.
One of Dave’s earliest paintings, it is painted in his easily recognisable style, with silhouetted figures and contrasting colours, capturing the scene in his own very unique way.
It is an original acrylic and decoupage on A3 220gsm canvas paper, unframed but mounted in a 16″ x 12″ white-cored black mount – which is a standard frame size, allowing ‘off the shelf’ framing.
