Description
‘Reflecting Sorrow’ depicts a lone soldier standing, head bowed, at the battlefield cross grave marker of a fallen comrade.
Painted in Dave’s distinctive style of grey, gloomy skies, figures in silhouette and a splash of colour – in this instance the crimson of the poppy flowers growing amidst the churned earth of no-mans-land.
This original painting is acrylic on gallery stretched box canvas, 40cm x 30cm. The box canvas has been painted around the edges to allow hanging unframed and the price is for the unframed painting, inclusive of UK/BFPO P&P. We are happy to ship world-wide, however please contact us for a postage quote prior to purchasing.
We are able to offer a framing service, which can be purchased seperately. We offer standard canvas edging frames in a choice of either black or white. We are able to offer other framing options but please contact us for details of those those.
