If you purchase backing at the time of the reel purchase, we will create a “Bimini Knot” to connect the backing to the fly line. If you prefer a different knot, please include those specific details in the checkout note section. Please be aware this may delay the shipment of the reel.  For the normal species of fish targeted with this reel we recommend the following backing options:  60# 16 Strand Hollow Ace, 65# 12 Strand SA UHMW or 68# 8 Strand Hatch. This allows for the most capacity of line.

Customization Options: For Tibor custom nameplates: You can order your customized nameplate by sending in the nameplate along with your completed warranty registration and nameplate card to the Tibor address below. This service is free and can have up to 16 characters.
